Bone Broth



I LOVE bone broth and it's such an easy little broth to make. Fun fact this is BANK for your skin, hair, and stomach. All the wonderful collagen. Ever wonder why my skin is amazing? Bone Broth.


INGREDIENTS

  • bones ( I use leftover rotisserie chicken)

  • veggie scraps

  • Apple cider vinegar (pulls out all the goodness out of the bones

  • salt

  • pepper

  • bay leaves

  • water to cover it all

  • **bonus if you add in things like garlic, turmeric, and ginger for extra benefits


MAKE IT

I freeze my veggie scrapes all week... Okay. I TRY to freeze a bag with all of my veggie scraps I use for the week.


Then I dump in the chicken carcass and fill it with water so that everything is covered. Toss in your aromatics and let simmer forever. Or up to 36 hours... Yeah I said that. The longer the more nutrient dense your broth will be. We have a gas stove so I toss it in the crockpot to simmer!
